Alvin came over and we watched almost all of Red Riding Hood, and then we left to Elephant Bar. I thought we were walking there, even though it’s such a long distance from home. We began walking — well, running, actually — and then I was like, “Why are we running all the way there?! We’re running?” And then Alvin said, “Do you trust me?” I got really confused when we turned the corner, because it isn’t the right way to Elephant Bar. This made me assume that we were taking the bus instead, since that’s how you get to the bus stop. BUT THEN we turned AGAIN, and I was like, “What’s going on?!” There, at the sidewalk, was Alvin’s mom’s car! Alvin proceeded to take out his keys, and then that’s when I knew. Yaaay, he got his car insurance! I don’t know why I felt so excited about it, but I was.
So later, he drove us to Elephant Bar and we met up with lots and lots of people (about 24 or so?). It was pretty fun. We shared the Kona BBQ Combo Platter and it was alright. We both didn’t feel full after eating it, so we also ordered garlic bread. When it came, everyone took some, so in the end, I only ended up eating 1 and a half sticks of garlic bread… Boo! Oh well, that’s okay. It was a fun dinner. After that, we all stood outside for a while because there were some bill issues. Chris paid for the whole dinner with his credit card, and we all were supposed to pay him back. Everyone did, but for some reason, there was still a lot of leftover money that wasn’t being paid. This always happens when people split money when eating out! It took a while, but everything was resolved in the end.
All of us then drove to Quickly and hung out some more for a short while. I bought Alvin coffee with small pearls and I bought myself pudding milk tea. And… now I am home! I should do some scholarships now. I really need to be serious about my education. No more regrets, Amy, please. You already got one rejection letter. Let’s go!
